Students that are using on-line applications are reminded to notify teachers as soon as possible when a teacher is listed as a “recommender” or “evaluator.”  The application site e-mails the necessary forms to the teacher, but too often a teacher doesn’t know what is needed from them.  Also, students are assuming the teacher is okay with the recommendation and will write a good one and meet the deadline.
