Students that are using on-line applications are reminded to notify teachers as soon as possible when a teacher is listed as a “recommender” or “evaluator.” The application site e-mails the necessary forms to the teacher, but too often a teacher doesn’t know what is needed from them. Also, students are assuming the teacher is okay with the recommendation and will write a good one and meet the deadline.

Since SAT and/or ACT score reports will no longer be accepted on the high school transcript, a student MUST request that scores be sent to Purdue using 1230 (ACT’s Purdue code) and/or 1631 (SAT’s code for Purdue). The admission process will not be complete until Purdue receives scores. Both the ACT and SAT allow up to 4 free requests for scores to be sent to colleges.
